For Our Foreign Visitors
Come in. Take a deep breath. Be yourself.
Welcome to the Balancehaus!
Looking for a truly unique German experience? Try the smallest spa house of Saxony! Situated in a charming town between Leipzig and Dresden, this rustic half-timbered house will make you feel as if you’ve done a journey to the good ole times. The owner Grit Kuhnitzsch welcomes each guest by cooking fresh meals straight from her Granny’s recipe book on the wooden stove in the traditional kitchen. You decide where to relax in the cozy Balancehaus – with a good book in front of the fire place, at the small sauna, in the mini-vineyard, or during the massages you can freely book.
Everything in the Balancehaus will remind you of the past – be it the narrow spiral staircase, the slightly crooked floors, the low doors, the sturdy wooden beams, or the clay plaster walls. If you prefer a lot of personal space (either in height or in width), it might be a bit too tight for you. However, the historic details make all the difference and create the charme of this unique house. Particularly young people love the Balancehaus.
With a total of only five rooms and seven beds, you can also book the complete house with the people you like best for a brief escape from the speed of the cyberworld. The immediate area is great for nature lovers. Oh, and in spite of the historic details, the Balancehaus has central heating, modern bathrooms, electricity, and WiFi, so you won’t be lost to the world. Unless you want to …
